Therapy is an investment

Taking control of your health and wellbeing is a big decision, and I believe that after you make the commitment it shouldn't take years to achieve your goals. My approach with every client is to empower you to make the changes you want to see from day one.

While therapy with me is a financial investment, it is also time-limited, personalized and to-the-point.

If you're ready to make your sexual health and relationships a priority, get in touch to set-up a consultation to determine if I'm the right therapist for you. My regular fee is...

$230 - 50-Minute Session

Do You Take My Insurance?

I understand that the vast majority of people seeking therapy are hoping to use their insurance to cover the cost. For many clinicians this is a great way to build their practice, see more people and offer services to clients that may not be able to see a provider otherwise.

If you want more information about why PST does not take insurance, please check out my blog post on the matter.

Clients of PST are considered self-pay and are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of expected charges under the No Surprises Act. Please click here to learn more about the GFE and your rights as a client of an out-of-network provider.

At this time, I do not take insurance directly.

What Are My Options?

I may not take insurance plans directly, but you have options if you want to see me:
  • I take cash, cards and checks for all services.
  • I am able to take Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.
  • Clients can also be provided with what is called a superbill, which is a special receipt for services that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

If you want to try to use some of your insurance benefits for therapy services, the best thing you can do is call your health insurance company and ask about reimbursement for outpatient mental health services with out-of-network therapists.

I also have a limited number of low fee slots available to clients who qualify, feel free to reach out for more information.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

Payment is due either at the time of service or will be automatically charged to your card on file the following day. All clients will be asked to keep a credit card on file for incidentals, this includes late cancellation and no-show fees.

If you are unable to make a session, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance so that I can offer another client the opportunity to use that time. If you are unable to make your scheduled time and have not provided 24 hours notice you will be charged the full amount for your session. Your card on file will be charged for the amount owed the following day.

You can find the full scheduling, fees and appointments policy in the Professional Disclosure Statement (PDS), available in the intake forms or via email upon request.
